Principles of Epidemiology
Measures of disease frequency, descriptive and analytical epidemiology, confounding, bias, and causal inference.
Introduction to Biostatistics
Probability distributions, sampling methods, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and introductory software practice.
Social Determinants of Health
Structural inequalities, poverty, gender dynamics, sociocultural barriers, and their impact on community vulnerability.
Field Practicum & Institutional Placement
During the fourth semester, students complete a structured field practicum with healthcare organizations, NGOs, research centers, or district health bodies, observing real-world operational health delivery.
Master’s Research Dissertation
Under the supervision of faculty advisors, each scholar conducts an independent empirical research project in epidemiology, health systems, or community health, culminating in a written thesis and viva voce.
